Your child can participate in the Summer Reading Program even if he or she can’t read:

Pick up a reading log at any location of the Lexington Public Library.

Your child’s goal is to listen to 25 books over the course of the summer. These can be short picture books or longer books. You can also count audio books.

The program begins JUNE 1 and ends JULY 31

When the reading log is filled and you and your child have reached the 25 book goal, bring your log back to any of the library locations for a free book of your choice. Enter the drawing to win another great prize to be awarded at the end of the summer.

Note: you cannot get prizes on the same day you sign up.
